• SMD and through-hole solutions on PCB design

• Allow solar power to run the system when sunlight is available, not the battery

• Turn off solar power at low case temperatures to prevent battery damage

Design Inspiration

Reading of the article clearly on instructables both inspired and frustrated us.

• Deep sleep could never be achieved with devkit based solution even though article went to great lengths to discuss calculation as if it could do so.

• Software could not properly support deep sleep operation

• Project seemed rushed based on a contest deadline
