Main Layout Power Distribution - District Feeders
Wiring main layout power bus
District feeders are the main power bus to all 3 legs of the layout. This is the bundle of 10 wires you see under the layout

Power packs to panels utilize two color coded 16GA wires per pack. These are run in a bus from the packs under each peninsula of the layout. Color combos are as follows and will be wired from left to right looking at the back of the panel in this order.

DC1 | Red | Black |
DC2 | Orange | Brown |
DC3 | Pink | White |
DC4 | Yellow | Blue |
DCC | Purple | Green |
Wiring from main bus to panels
Wires coming from packs into panel will be terminated at a terminal strip and will be connected via suitcase connectors with same wire gauge and color as the main bus.
